Brian's favorite place on earth (and quickly becoming everyone else's in our family) is his family's cabin on Hebgen Lake just outside of West Yellowstone. He has been spending his summers here since he was four years old. We are so grateful that we have the opportunity to spend a little bit of our summer here too and especially for our kids to experience it just as their dad did.
Not only is the boat fun to ride on, but it makes a relaxing place to sit and look out at the lake too!!
This trip was a little more low key than usual as it was just Brian's parents, Shannon, and us most of the time. Martin did come up for the weekend but since Stacey was about to have a baby she opted to stay in Utah. We were a small group but that didn't stop us from having a fantastic time!

Since we headed to the lake AS SOON AS WE GOT THERE, I wasn't too worried about getting swim suits for my kids. They just played in the water in their clothes... hey, it's the cabin! And I didn't think they would get too far in, the water was pretty cold!
