Owen had a fever one afternoon when I picked him up from school and it continued into the night. So the poor boy had his first absence from school. I don't think he missed it too much though because he discovered the Cbeebie channel... kid shows all day long.
Ellika was of course already a fan of it. Just look how much she's learned since moving here!
That day however was the day that both kids had a Dr. appointment to get an immunization shot. Owen got out of it because his temp. was too high, but Ellika had to have one. She was a trooper and of course afterwards we got to get ice cream!!
Owen got one too, because after all cold ice cream should be required to bring down a fever.
