The scenery was absolutely gorgeous. These pictures were taken from the front seat of the car, so they don't really do it justice, but it was absolutey beautiful.
The above picture is a two way road by the way. Crazy.
We drove to Stakpole Quay, where we took a footpath to Barafundle Beach along limestone cliffs, dunes, and woodlands. Stunning!
This picture is out of order, but this was on the way to Stackpole Quay.... this bus did not even pause, he just kept coming straight at us until we decided we were going to be the ones to move out of the way.
Owen loved exploring along the paths and being the leader. It was so fun to watch him be excited about everything.
The walk was almost a mile out and the kids did great on the way, but on the way back it started to rain a bit more and it was super windy, so they were a little tired and ready to be back at the car.
We were all happy to find out Bed & Breakfast and take a nice rest. We lucked out on this place too. It was a bit out of the way (at least away from the little town) but it was so pretty and the staff were super nice and our breakfast was good. It was a traditional Welsh breakfast, which includes, bacon, sausage, eggs, fried toast, tomato, baked beans, and fried mushrooms with tea, juice, cereal, or yogurts as well. Yummy... except for the fried toast, that wasn't so good.
A fantastic day 2!
