Last Warm Day of the Year

Last Friday night we took the boat out for a quick test run.  It had sounded funny the previous week so we just went out with Rachie to make sure everything sounded ok.  It was a beautiful night and it turned out to be some good water too.  Oh, and the boat seemed to run great.

On Saturday it was almost 100 degrees and it was humid.  It was a beautiful day to be on the lake.  And I'm so glad we went since it's been super rainy and cold every day since!!  The kids had fun playing on the platform with their little toys they brought.  Owen had some Blue Guy he got from McDonalds and Ellika brought a princess.  I'm pleasently surprised that they both came home with us that day rather than dropped to the bottom of the lake!

Owen has come along way on the tube this year.  He was actually asking to go on it.  We started blowing up our tube when we realized we didn't have the nozzle.  Luckily Ryan was on the lake and let us borrow his!  Thanks Ryan!
When they got on the outside of the wake Owen told Brian, "Now this is what I call smooth water!"   What a cool kid!

Ellika usually loves the tube but she was not in the mood this time around!

But they were both happy to swim and swim and swim.
