We had a playdate last week to Adventure Island. It is an amusement park right on the seaside. Owen went with his friend on the slightly bigger rides than Ellika was allowed on. She was pretty upset she didn't get to go on them and it took her a minute to be satisfied with the Pirate Ship. But once she started looking around she got happy and we had to go on it twice!
Then it was the pink flying elephant ride. She really liked this one!
Thanks to Ben's mom who went on several rides with Owen... like this dragon ride.

Owen was super brave and rode on the big alligator ride. He rode with Ben's nanny, Gemma. Apparently, he thought it went a little too fast. When the other's went on the ride again, he opted to stay with me and Ellika.

After we rode rides for awhile we walked down the waterfront to the sprinklers. So fun and so crowded!! Apparently this is new this summer and everyone wanted to check it out.

They were very happy and very wet when it was time to go.
So we took off Owen's shirt as we walked back to the car and stopped for blue ice cream for Owen and pink ice cream for Ellie.
