Since we alternate whose house we are at yearly, we get multiple times to open presents. We opened presents the Thursday before Christmas with the Merxes.
It was so fun watching the kids get so excited to pass out presents and then be so excited when one was for them.
Probably the favorite present of the night was from Aunt Shannon. She sent all the kids pajama's and they loved them. Ellika thinks hers is a dress and has wanted to wear it about every day since then. Everytime she saw it in the suitcase she would ask to put it on. And for some reason whenever she has it on and Owen is wearing Buzz, Owen says to her "Now, we can marry each other!" Not sure where he got that idea, but it makes me laugh.
We were able to call Shannon on Martin's phone and she could watch video of the Christmas chaos. We were really sad that we didn't get to see her. She started a new job in Nashville and didn't have enough time off to be there while we were there but luckily we get to see her in February!!
Ellika is studying her new Tangled Rapunzel, Flynn, and the boat. It's a favorite toy!! They came from her cousin Kali.
Ok, this was Owen's number one gift. He LOVES these things! I think they are called Toobers and Zots and Owen has played with them over and over. They came from his cousin Corwin.
Yay!!! A kid camera! It takes video and is so funny to watch from his perspective.
