Ellika had a super fun 3rd birthday. It was on a Monday and a Bank Holiday so Brian had the day off. We decided to head into London to Hamley's Toy Store to celebrate.
This store was HUGE! I think it was about 5 floors of toys! The kids loved it and wanted to look at everything. You can see SpiderMan hanging from the ceiling and a Lego Soldier in the background.
And the Lego Queen.
It is such a pain to travel with a stroller in London. It would be nice when walking around the streets but a nightmare on the tube, so instead Brian generally spends at least half of the time carrying our little princess!
We stopped for lunch at Nando's. Which is a kids favorite because the kids meal comes with all you can eat frozen yogurt which you can get before your real food comes. Ellie thought that was great!
But not as great as "two-strawing" my soda!!
Then we walked through Regent's Park.
And all through the park we found remnants of the Olympics. These little guys were the Olympic Mascots and they were everywhere.
I think this one was my favorite!
These kids are fun little people to take places. They make it a different experience than if it was just the two of us, but they are fun company.
They were both pretty tuckered out by the last tube ride.
And then the birthday girl couldn't make it any longer. She fell asleep on the train ride home.
With her cute Hello Kitty she picked out at the Toy Store.
